Deciphering the Drivers of Net Primary Productivity of Vegetation in Mining Areas

Spatial differentiation of the net primary productivity (NPP) vegetation is an important factor in ecological protection and restoration mining areas. However, most studies have focused on climatic constraints rarely considered effects soil properties activities. Thus, impact forces driving NPP areas spatial location remains unclear. Taking Changhe Basin area as example, we used Carnegie–Ames–Stanford approach (CASA) model to estimate quantified climate, properties, activities based factorial experiments. Our results indicate that average was 290.13 gC/(m2·yr), western Basin, intensive coal area, significantly lower than east. The correlations between each driver varied by location, with mean annual temperature precipitation, organic carbon, total nitrogen, land degradation showing strong correlations. relative importance variability 38.97%, 31.50%, 29.53%, respectively.
